Long Range Receiver

Paired with an MX96PRO, the SX2 receives differential long-distance data from up to 300 m away and converts it into a pixel-ready signal — up to 12 universes of clocked or data-only pixels, across two individually fused outputs.

Mounting

Onto a wall, a plate, or a rail

The same enclosure does all three. Mounting holes take a wall or plate fixing directly, and the optional DIN Rail Mount Kit clips it onto rail instead. It is one receiver either way — the mounting changes, the hardware does not.

Installed

The far end of the run

One MX96PRO feeds up to eight SX2 receivers, each as far as 300 m of differential cable from the transmitter and within 15 m of its first pixel. Rail-mounted side by side in a remote enclosure, every receiver carries its own power input and its own two outputs.

Common questions, answered.

It drives 12 universes across two individually-fused outputs, each up to 1020 RGB or 768 RGBW pixels.
It receives X-Data from an MX96PRO transmitter over distances up to 300 m.
It outputs over X-Stream and SPI, and its two outputs can run clocked or data-only.
Each output is fused to 7.5 A via a mini blade fuse. Beyond the fuses, the pixel output power lines carry over-current and short-circuit protection, the clock and data lines carry ±24 V DC fault protection, and every pixel output and the data input are ESD protected.
Up to eight receivers per MX96PRO, each as far as 300 m from the transmitter and within 15 m of its first pixel.
The SX2 and an Installation Guide. The DIN-rail mounting accessory is ordered separately.
The SX2 runs on 5–24 V DC.
It mounts on wall, plate or DIN-rail (optional accessory) in a high-strength black ABS enclosure measuring 95 × 78 × 33 mm at 0.2 kg.
It operates from −20°C to +55°C.
