Mounting

Onto a rail, or onto a wall

The same enclosure does both. The DIN Rail Mount Kit clips the PX24 onto DIN rail; without it, the controller wall-mounts directly. It is one controller either way — the mounting changes, the hardware does not.

Thermal

The base is the heatsink

The solid aluminium base of the enclosure doubles as a heatsink, dissipating the heat that high-current installations generate and holding the device together at high ambient temperatures.

Installed

In the cabinet, on the rail

Pixel outputs terminate on one edge of the enclosure, Ethernet, auxiliary and power on the other, so cable runs leave in two directions rather than one bundle. The screw terminal blocks are removable and the microSD slot sits on the front face.
