The Grounds – Sydney

The Grounds of Alexandria is a hospitality and retail precinct in inner-city Sydney, set among gardens and restored industrial buildings. Lighting turns one of its grand arched walkways into a vibrant sensory experience: flexible linear lighting runs the length of the sculptural arches, creating a path of evolving colour and gentle movement. The installation adds drama and softness at once – turning a simple corridor into an unfolding visual journey.

The colour shifts are slow and deliberate, inviting guests to slow down, explore, and engage. It is not just a transition space, but a feature in itself – blending theatrical design with a subtle intimacy, and using light to enhance mood, rhythm, and connection.
